TRANSFORMING YOUR WORLD

Greetings in the thrill of serving our Lord,

It is with great joy that I launch Transforming Your World blog beginning with today's posting. It is my intention that this be one tool to stay in touch with so many friends and partners who share in the vision of the Transformation Ministries International network. For those who are not familiar with us, let me share some brief information.
Transformation Ministries International is a non-denominational network of ministries which does and will include new church starts in the U.S. and abroad and currently existing ministries ready for a change. The goal is that participating ministries can have an opportunity to encourage, assist and hold each other accountable so that each can be better equipped to fulfill God's unique calling for that ministry. Each ministry is independent and is not under the authority of T.M.I. but agrees to a common vision and agrees to its principles. It is clear that the "church" in America, Europe and other nations in the world is in decline or has marginal impact on the communities they serve. At least one reason is that many Christians view Christianity as just one of many religious options available to us. Christianity however, was never intended to be just another religion. Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me" (Jn. 14:6). It is through Christ we enter relationship with the Father, not through our own human effort (religion). Religion is mankind's' attempt to reach God through our traditions, works, and ideas. But the Christian faith recognizes that it was God who is the initiator of our salvation. God came to us through the Christ (Jn 3:16). T.M.I. 's goal is to aid in re-introducing the Body of Christ and non-believers to an understanding of God's desire for relationship rather than religion. The "world" has defined us as just one religion out of many to reach God and far too many believers have embraced this definition. This definition we reject. We serve a kingdom, God's kingdom, not religion.
Through this blog I will inform, share ideas, give updates on projects and seek your feedback which I highly value.
Look for the release date of "Now Is Our Time," a new music CD release coming soon.
For more information about T.M.I. look for the T.M.I. web-site coming soon.
May God bless the wonderful congregation of Transformation Ministries First Baptist Church, Charlottesville Virginia where it is currently my honor to serve as senior pastor.
May our Lord bless each of you, especially our friends in Africa, India and Cebu, Philippines.
My blog will be posted once per week by six P.M. Tuesdays.

Pastor Beard, again and again, it amazes me how God works through you, Rev. Dee and the rest of the Transformation family to spread the good news of the Lord.

You exemplify Christ's mission and I am thankful that God gave you and TMFBC as a ministerial covering to me. I am truly thankful and I look forward to reading your blog.

Thank you for providing a conduit for those of us outside of the current TMFBC family. I am a former TMFBCer and wished for years that I could kept abreast - thank you again for providing such a venue. I will be checking often for updates.
Regardless of my distance, I consider you my spiritual father. Thank you for solidifying my relationship with Christ.
Forever, your son in Christ,

I am excited about T.M.International. I am currently in a place of transition and utter freedom, one where doors are wide open for ministry and I now have to make decisions where to go to serve.
You've been speakig of the vision being bigger than the visionary, and reaching for the outer limits.

T.M.I. may allow me to remain under the covering of TMFBC even in other cities.
Looking forward to the website and finding out more. -valerieBowe

The vision of TMI is larger than our universe. It is an integral minute piece that God will use for his Kingdom here on earth. I thank God for TMFBC for being the body that God used to birth and manifest this vision and ministry.

I thank God for our shepherd, and being “THE” vessel, which God chose to watch over and care for this vision and ministry for a time and season such as now. As senior associate minister of TMFBC, I bless this vision and I bless this ministry. (Tshalach-send your spirit),
Rev. Paul
